Italian in Italy is an association for the diffusion of Italian culture and language in the world.
The main aim of Italian in Italy is to make the Italian language known by promoting its study and diffusion all over the world. In particular, it promotes the cultural aspects of the Italian language (courses on Art History, Cinema and Theatre, Literature, Cuisine and Fashion).
The best Italian schools and programmes interact within Italian in Italy in order to represent the major Italian cultural experiences. Each school undergoes a rigorous selection process.
With regard to links with foreign countries, the association intends to establish collaborative relations on a broad scale. In fact, it aims to establish collaboration and relations with all those entities, public and private organisations, Italian cultural institutes abroad, international associations, universities, linguistic associations, operators, teachers, etc., that can contribute to the development of the association’s statutory aims.
The member schools are specifically concerned with teaching Italian language and culture to foreign students, training and refresher courses for teachers and promoting projects aimed at facilitating the integration and learning of learners whose mother tongue is not Italian.
The Italian in Italy association is more and more involved in carry out its activities with a special focus on the education and inclusion of the most disadvantaged social groups.
European Projects
Since 2006, Italian in Italy has been working with many international partners of high level in several educational projects, with a focus on adult education (Leonardo, Grundtvig, Erasmus+). Italian in Italy has promoted, under the various programs and actions financed by the European Union, the Italian language and culture in many foreign countries and established partnerships with high-level European institutions with which it collaborates in order to achieve future educational results
