The Erasmus+ Project Network for Promotion of Women Empowerment Recognition (Netpowere) has started in October, 15th 2019.

What is Netpower project?

Netpower is a project designed by a consortium of associations engaged for years in the world of women’s associations with the aim of spreading as many experiences as possible to reduce the gender gap.The idea of the project was born in 2019 after the publication of the Global Gender Gap Report 2019, published by the World Economic Forum. The document annually highlights gender inequalities country by country.There is still a lot to do and therefore the associations of the project are committed to create a network to try to spread the best practices in each countries to fight the gender gap.

Who is the consortium composed by?
 Five organizations are involved in Netpower project:
– Italian in Italy, an association of organizations operating for the diffusion of Italian language and culture;
– University Women of Europe is a non profit, international organization consisting of graduate women associations and federations from 15 countries working in partnership with the Council of Europe and the European Women’s Lobby;
– Les Femmes Chefs d’Entrepreises Mondiales an association uniting women business owners from the world over;
– Suomen Akateemisten Naisten Liitto is a non-governmental organization bringing toghether Finnish Graduate Women;
– Asociatia Femeilor Universitare is an independent, non-party , non-governmental

and non-profit association of graduated women of Romania.

What are the objectives of the project?

  •  More people raised awareness of the need to create a real gender equality
  • Good practices and new methods integrated into daily working activities
  • Improved communication between people from different cultures, societies and gender
  • Intercultural skills developed and improved
  • Increased proficiency and professionalism to work at an international level
  • Improved quality of communication/promotion of the partner organizations.
